Michael “Big Mike” Holt, 57 of Lambertville, MI, died Monday, November 24, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born June 1, 1957 in Adrian, MI, he was the son of Johnnie F. and Ava Jean (Cagle) Holt. Big Mike was a 1975 graduate of Bedford High School. He was a truck driver for several area trucking companies and was also the owner and operator of the former Holt Trucking Company. His passion was motorcycles and was a member of the Floral City, Chapter C of the GWRRA in Monroe, MI. Big Mike also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, boating and riding wave runners.
He is survived by his loving father, Johnnie (Anna Henion) Holt; Daughter, Hope Ann (Joseph) Mitchell, Sister, Cindy (Shannon Crowder) Holt, Grandsons, Zachary & Clayton Mitchell, Nieces Mackenzie Hayward and Nichole Robinson. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Visitation will be from 2-7 pm, Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. www.pawlakfuneralhome.com
